Todmorden Orchestra

Todmorden Orchestra is a symphony orchestra based in the Pennine town of Todmorden – a place with a long tradition of music making.

The orchestra is conducted by Nicholas Concannon Hodges and is a thriving part of Todmorden’s cultural life, with a loyal following. We perform with some of the UK’s most talented soloists at Todmorden’s magnificent, Grade I-listed Town Hall.

Our players come from Todmorden and beyond, from Manchester to Halifax.

The Musical Quest

A triangle has gone missing and we need your help to find it! Follow the trail through folk dances, lullabies, and even Handel’s famous Water Music, with storyteller Katrina Heath as your guide.

There’ll be surprises, chances to join in, and the magic of a live orchestra. This short concert is perfect for families with primary school-age children.

Todmorden Orchestra is joined by young musicians from Music for the Many for two special performances.
